MGH holds community meeting in Kalbarri
On Thursday 10 April 2025, the MGH Project team held a community meeting for residents of Kalbarri and the Mid West region.
The community meeting took place at the Kalbarri Sport and Recreation Centre; it was attended by approximately 150 community members and lasted two hours. Community members were provided with the opportunity to have their questions answered by the Project team, as well as raise areas of interest, opportunity and concern.
During the event, Shohan Seneviratne (CEO) and the team provided a Project update before answering questions submitted by the community.
Whilst some questions were taken from the floor or live through an online question and answer (Q&A) platform, the MGH team also answered questions submitted prior to the meeting through the website enquiry form, via email and phone consultation, and in person during community engagement sessions in March 2025.
To ensure all community members have their questions addressed, we have put together a summary document with a Q&A section. This document contains the wide range of engagement topics we have gathered in recent years too.
